Top Tropical Islands

These two islands, the Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil are located on the north eastern coast of Malaysia with coral-fringed tropical islands.  They are equally beautiful and attractive with side beaches, crystal blue water and a lot of palm trees. Though there is not much to do here, you can just lie on the beach all day or put a hammock while letting go of your hang over from the night’s drinking.
Tropical beaches like Malaysia are known as one of the best when it comes to snorkelling and scuba diving. When you see Perhentian Islands on television or in glossy travel brochures you will be amazed of their lush green tropical rainforests, coral reefs and palm lined beaches.  But it is more fantastic and marvellous when you visit and see it for yourself.
Taking a boat is your means to reach the islands which is 20 miles away from the mainland; this is when the adventure begins.  You have two choices, sail on a slower boat which will take one hour and a half to reach the island or take a faster boat that sails for only 30 minutes. Diving activities is the most common that you can find in the islands that is why there are some diving schools based on the islands.  If you want to learn diving, then is a good chance to try.
You can explore their virgin rainforests or go on jungle hiking and you will find some of the wildlife like long tailed macaque monkeys, flying foxes, monitor lizards that regularly swim from Pangkor to the mainland and many other jungle animal species.
Enjoy a wonderful experience of sun bathing and swimming in these two exquisite islands.
