Curacao is one of the best of the five islands in Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean located 40 miles off the coast of Venezuela, 30 miles west of Bonaire and 42 miles east of Aruba. The local language is Papiamento but the official language is Dutch and English. Spanish is also widely spoken.

Curacao is an island with many small and fantastic inlets surrounded by sparkling crystal clear and revitalizing cool water. You will find many people in their beaches during weekends but only a few during weekdays. At southern coast which most of the beaches are located have warm and clear water while at northern coast it is rocky and the sea is somewhat violent. There are some beaches with good restaurants and facilities especially those that charge entrance fees and others are more simple and basic.

Beaches in Curacao are fantastic for scuba diving and snorkelling. Scuba Diving is an astounding and breathtaking experience for every scuba diving fanatics. You will find that their underwater is a paradise having coral reefs and sponge formations of multi-coloured tropical fish. They don’t allow getting rid of corals and cracking of shells and spear fishing to conserve and safeguard the underwater life.

There are numerous visiting attractions and activities in Curacao like beaches and scuba diving. If you love to see different fish and sea-life watch them as they are displayed in their Sea Aquarium.
