Perfect Tropical Islands

One of the best and perfect tropical islands in Borneo is Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. It is situated off the coast of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia sheltered from the bumpy waters of South China Sea. Sandy beaches in Borneo could be a perfect place if you want peace and tranquillity. TAR Marine Park have an area of 4,929 hectares and heightens five peaceful tropical islands. You can reach TAR islands easily since it is close to Kota Kinabalu for about l5 to 20-minute boat ride.
Another perfect and largest island of TAR is the Pulau Gava about 140 hectares with 25 kms of shoreline. There are several fine white sand beaches with crystal clear bay that is idyllic for swimming. The fanciful coral reefs that you can see along the whole coast of the islands are in outstanding condition. The Gayana Island Eco Resort that you will find in Pulau Gava has coastal dipterocarp forest that is perfect for studying and trailing unique species of animal and plant life.
Pulau Manukan, a boomerang shaped Tropical Island and considers the second largest of the TAR Marine Park. Beaches are on the southern coastline and perfect for diving, swimming and snorkelling. The infrastructure support can be relied on and they also have best accommodations and quality facilities. Pulai Mamutik is the smallest of the five tropical islands of TAR. The island is surrounded by rich coral life and rare marine life can also be found in this place. Pulau Sapi has one of the nicest beaches in TAR with its clean white sand, coral reefs and crystal clear water. Pulau Sulug is the farthest from Kota Kinabalu and the least developed but a popular among island hoppers who desire tranquillity.
